Representative Eric Watson resides in Cleveland. He has one daughter, Summer. Watson first ran for office in a special election held in 2005, and attributes his success in that election to a combination of his experience in law enforcement and his familiarity with the people and issues of Meigs, Polk, and Bradley Counties. Watson is a member of Tennessee Harmony, a music group that has seen seven songs make the Christian Music Artist Top 80. He also organized “Coats for the Cold, a service that has provided 9,000 winter coats to children in the Cleveland area.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A bill designed to allow for equal access to all publicly-owned property for all Tennesseans is on its way to the Tennessee Senate. House Bill 2638, authored by Representative Eric Watson (R—Cleveland), easily passed the House of Representatives today by a vote of 70-26. The legislation prevents people from living on publicly-owned property not designated for residential use.
