Rep. Rusty Grills encourages Tennesseans to celebrate Christian Heritage Month

NASHVILLE — State Rep. Rusty Grills, R-Newbern, is encouraging residents of House District 77 and all Tennesseans to celebrate the Volunteer State’s Christian heritage throughout November. Gov. Bill Lee in April signed a bill sponsored by Grills designating November as Christian Heritage Month to honor the Volunteer State’s Christian founding and history.

Grills stated, “As we prepare to give thanks for all God has blessed us with later this month, it’s important to reflect on our nation’s rich history and religious liberty. Christianity has played an integral role in the founding of Tennessee and the United States, and it remains a central part of what makes our nation great. I encourage Tennesseans to study the Christian heritage of our state and nation and recognize the contributions Christian men and women have made in our communities.”
