Tennessee House Speaker Cameron Sexton, R-Crossville, has named State Rep. Brock Martin, R-Huntingdon, chairman of the Health Subcommittee for the 114th General Assembly. The 9-member subcommittee focuses on issues related to public health, healthcare policy, and the regulation of health-related services and programs.
“Representative Martin is deeply committed to improving healthcare access and outcomes for Tennesseans,” said Speaker Cameron Sexton. “As chairman of the Health Subcommittee, Brock’s leadership and healthcare knowledge will be key in advancing policies that prioritize the well-being of our citizens.”
Martin, who was elected in 2023, also serves on the Health, Insurance, and Commerce committees.
“I am honored to serve as chairman of the Health Subcommittee and look forward to working with my colleagues to ensure all Tennesseans have access to quality healthcare,” said Martin. “Together, we will focus on policies that improve outcomes, expand access, and strengthen our healthcare system for the future.”
