Biography

Jody Barrett is a small business owner, community leader, a husband, and father who serves as State Representative for Tennessee’s 69th House District.

Known for his unique brand of aggressive, courageous, and outspoken conservative leadership, Jody is taking on the tough fights in Nashville and delivering concrete results for local families. He has quickly established a reputation for standing his ground for what he believes to be right, regardless of the consequences.

Jody has advanced legislation to protect our Second Amendment rights, support law enforcement, end illegal immigration, and rid our state of the filth of obscenity and child pornography. He also works hard to lower taxes and support local community businesses, which will allow us to create good, stable careers that will provide all Tennesseans with opportunities to provide a better life for themselves and their families.
