NASHVILLE, Tenn. — State Rep. Rebecca Alexander, R-Jonesborough, is encouraging veterans to take advantage of complimentary ‘Stay & Play’ deals at Tennessee State Parks.
Tennessee State Parks is honoring resident veterans with complimentary camping and golf on each service branch birthday and Veterans Day leading up to the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
“Spending time outdoors is vital for anyone’s mental health, but it’s especially important for our veterans,” Alexander said. “Free stay and plays are a small way we can say thank you for their service and give them an opportunity to explore Tennessee’s beautiful state parks.”
