NASHVILLE (August 11, 2022) – The NFIB Tennessee PAC, the political action committee of the state’s leading small business advocacy organization, has endorsed Representative Bryan Terry, MD (R-Murfreesboro) in the District 48 State House race. The NFIB Tennessee PAC is comprised exclusively of NFIB members.
“Our members support the candidates who demonstrate they will support small business consistently, and Rep. Bryan Terry has shown us that he understands the significant challenges today for our state’s entrepreneurs,” said Jim Brown, the National Federation of Independent Business’ state director for Tennessee. “Dr. Terry is committed to creating and maintaining a positive environment for small businesses in the district and across our state.”
“It’s an honor to receive the endorsement of the NFIB Tennessee PAC,” Terry said. “Small business is the backbone of our economy and with runaway inflation, high gas prices, and regulatory burdens from the Biden Administration causing damage to Tennesseans and businesses, it’s important that elected officials be advocates for our community.”
The NFIB Tennessee PAC endorsement is critical to candidates’ campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB Tennessee PAC’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on small business issues.
