Manufacturer to invest $3.4 million in Dayton, creating approximately 70 jobs.
(NASHVILLE) — State Representative Ron Travis (R-Dayton) recently joined with the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) and local officials to announce that Coil Design Corporation — a leader in the HVAC and refrigeration industries — is investing $3.4 million in its corporate headquarters and manufacturing plant in Dayton.
The former Goodman Manufacturing plant in the city will serve as the new home for Coil Design Corporation. The manufacturer plans to invest in new equipment and upgrades to the current facility. It is expected to be up and running by early summer and will employ citizens as machine operators, flame blazing technicians, assembly workers, drafters, engineers, as well as sales personnel.
This announcement is expected to create approximately 70 new jobs over the course of the next two years.
“Coin Design Corporation’s announcement is great news for our community,” said Representative Travis. “Their investment will bring high paying jobs to Dayton, Rhea County, and our region. I look forward to their partnership with our local officials, and I will continue to push for additional resources that promote job growth so that more of our citizens will have an opportunity to obtain the high quality jobs they desire.”
