House Bill 711 eases the backlog of Tennessee court cases
(NASHVILLE) —This week, Republican lawmakers unanimously passed a bill sponsored by State Representative Sam Whitson (R-Franklin) that improves caseload efficiency in Tennessee courts.
House Bill 711 helps alleviate the backlog of cases in Tennessee courts. It now awaits further action from the Senate.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my first year in the Tennessee General Assembly and am pleased that House Bill 711 has passed on the House floor,” said Representative Whitson. “I look forward to working with my fellow Republican colleagues throughout the remainder of the legislative session to pass laws that benefit all Tennesseans, especially those in my district.”
In addition to House Bill 711, Representative Whitson is sponsoring 13 other bills this session.
