Telford Diner cosponsoring event open to all Washington County residents; no invitation required.
(NASHVILLE) — State Representative Matthew Hill (R–Jonesborough) invites the men, women, and families of House District 7 to join him for free food, music, and fellowship at the 5th annual Community Day on Saturday, September 15th in Washington County.
Sponsored in partnership with Telford Diner, the event runs from 4:00PM -7:00PM at the diner, located at 109 Mill Street in Telford. Community Day is a unique opportunity for all Washington County residents to come together and celebrate what it truly means to be a close-knit community.
“This is one of my favorite events every year because it brings everybody together for an afternoon of fun and enables me to visit with our citizens in a more casual setting,” said Representative Hill. “I am grateful to Warren and Vickie Browder and the staff at the Telford Diner for their support and for making this event so successful. I know that trend will only continue this year.”
Music and food — including BBQ — will be featured, and there is no invitation or reservation requirement in order to attend. All are welcome.
“Community Day has only grown in its popularity, and I am pleased that our residents always look forward to this event when it arrives each year,” Hill concluded.
